Do I have to only pick from the vacations I see on your website?
Absolutely not. Footsteps can customize anything you see on this website or provide you with a one-of-a-kind travel experience based on your unique needs, interests, and budget.

How early should I arrive at the airport?
You should arrive at the airport a minimum of three hours prior to your flight time. We strongly recommend reconfirming your flight time 24 hours prior to departure, for both origin and destination flights.

What information should I have in mind before contacting you?
Footsteps advises you to consider your area of interest, your budget and the length of your trip. Based on these, Footsteps will be better able to provide you with a suggested tour, accommodation choices and itinerary.

Does Footsteps do family trips?
Yes, Footsteps provides family trips. Please provide the ages and number of people in the family so we can serve you better and provide activities that suit the whole family.

How many people can be on the same trip?
Most of our trips are for groups of 10 to 12 people. For families or closed group trips, the minimum group size is 2.

Who will be my group leader?
Our leaders are experts in the region, some because they have been travelling there for years, others because they are local to the region and can’t wait to show you around.

Can I make any changes to the itinerary of my group trip, either before or during the trip?
Unfortunately, we are unable to change the itinerary for individual travelers. However, if you are part of a group and would like your own customized itineraries, you can contact us through our email. info@footstepslb.com

Can I add an extra night on the beginning or end of the trip?
Extra nights can be added for group trips. Extra charges will be requested accordingly.

What will the food be like on my trip?
Lebanon is famous for its food. You will eat delicious local dishes, including mezze, shawarma, mankousheh, tabbouleh, hommos, foul & fateh etc...

Can I drink tap water?
Tap water is not suitable for drinking. We recommend you drink bottled water. 
What plug is used in Lebanon and what is the voltage?
Electricity: 220/240V 2 pin European plug.
What is the dress code etiquette in Lebanon?
In Lebanon, you need to dress in a descent way.
What is the currency in Lebanon, does it trade in US Dollar and what is the exchange rate?
Lebanon trades in the US dollar and Lebanese pounds (lira. For your information and for a smoother purchasing process while in country, the current exchange rate for the local currency (Lebanese Lira (L.L)) is 1,500 L.L. per $1.00.
How is the weather in Lebanon?
The weather of Lebanon can be classified as a mild Mediterranean climate with a dry summer and the warmest month between 22°C and 36°C and the coldest month between 18°C and -3°C. Winters are very mild, with average temperatures in January around 14 °C (57 °F), but they are also rainy, with particularly abundant rains in December and January. Summers, from June to September, are constantly sunny, hot and muggy but tempered by sea breezes. In summer, average highs are around 28/30 °C (82/86 °F).

Can I bring my Bible?
Yes, there is no problem with bringing a Bible into Lebanon.
